Adhesive P5
Product: StyroTrim® Adhesive P5. This
thick adhesive is made specifically for StyroTrim® by NMC America, Inc, 7000 Central Parkway, Suite 1501, Atlanta, GA
30328.

Base: Synthetic dispersion
Consistency: Thick
Polymerization: Physical Polymerization
Open time: 10 - 15 minutes.
Drying time: 24 hours approx.
Density: 112 pounds / cu ft (1.8g/ml)
Temperature resistance: -4ºF to 158°F (-20°C to +70°C) (after hardening)
Characteristics:
Solvent free. Stays slightly elastic after drying.
Applications:
Gluing extruded or expanded polystyrene and polyurethane on walls and ceilings
where the substrate is porous.
Packaging:
Color: beige. Container: 285 ml cartridge, 1 and 5 kg tubs.
Shelf-life:
24 months in its closed packaging in a dry, cool environment, at temperatures
between 41°F and 77°F (+5°C and +25°C).
Substrates:
Type: Porous substrates, e.g. bricks, concrete, plaster. Conditions: clean,
dry, grease free.
Method of use:
Application: With a gun (cartridge) or with a spatula. Coat the surfaces of
the product to be glued with the adhesive,
position the product on the substrate and press firmly.
Temperature of application: 41°F to 86°F (+5°C to +30°C)
Cleaning product: Water.
Joints: Maintain a gap of from 1/16 to 1/8" (2 to 3 mm) between each section.
Safety measures: Usual working hygiene.
Comment: A porous substrate is to be preferred.
